Stations Servicing Gwangju - Seoul Trains

Going to Gwangju by train is the fastest option to get there. KTX high-speed trains depart to Gwangju couple of times during the day from Yongsan Station in Seoul and arrive at Gwangju-Songjeong train station, where you can take the subway.

Also, there are some Mugunghwa or Saemaeul trains going to Gwangju. They arrive at different railway stations: Gwangju-Songjeong (Gwangju station) or Seogwangju station. The trip on these trains will take around 4 hours instead of less than 2 hours on KTX bullet train.
